About The Position

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients in a newly established hospital. This role involves performing routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, as well as maintaining equipment and conducting basic laboratory testing. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to learning and caring for a diverse patient population, particularly those who are chronically and critically ill.

Requirements

• Must be certified or licensed in the state to practice respiratory care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in Nevada.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
• Maintain all respiratory care equipment in working order.
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
