About The Position

Responsible for independently utilizing respiratory care therapy to safely, therapeutically, and efficiently care for a group of patients based on policies and procedures. Delivers individualized quality respiratory care services through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, and other departments. Responsible for responding to all code blue/emergency situations in the hospital and acts as Lead Respiratory Care Practitioner in the absence of the Lead. Complies with the State of California standards for Respiratory Care. Requirements

  • 2-4 years in Acute Respiratory Care.
  • RRT by the NBRC.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification.
  • LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment.
  • Current California RCP license.

Responsibilities
