About The Position

The Part-Time Respiratory Care Clinical Instructor is responsible for teaching and supervising students in clinical settings, ensuring they gain practical experience and knowledge in respiratory care. The instructor will also teach in a classroom situation as needed to supplement classroom/lab instruction for the curriculum.

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in respiratory care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to mentor and motivate students.
• Proficient in using clinical equipment and technology.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Respiratory Care or a related field.
• Previous teaching or instructional experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and instruct students during clinical rotations.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with healthcare facilities to ensure a quality learning environment.
• Develop and implement lesson plans and clinical activities.
