UWMC Respiratory Care Services has an outstanding opportunity for a temporary RESPIRATORY CARE ASSISTANT. WORK SCHEDULE Shifts AND Hours may vary POSITION HIGHLIGHTS The Respiratory Care Assistant will report to the Respiratory Care Manager. the Respiratory Care Assistant supports the day to day operations of the Respiratory Care Department. Requirements

  • High school graduation OR Equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

  • Front desk reception duties, phone and scheduling
  • Kronos data entry and payroll support
  • Data entry of respiratory care billing.
  • Order stock and non-stock medical supplies including special order gases as needed.
  • Stock vital respiratory supplies to areas in the Medical Center, Montlake Tower, and Surgery Pavilion.
  • Clean, sterilize, assemble, test and distribute respiratory equipment.
  • Assist with handling medical gases.
