Requirements

• Respiratory Care Assistant Required.
• Basic Life Support Required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• College Courses in Respiratory Therapy Required.
• Training Clinical in Respiratory Therapy Required.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direct supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner (RCP).
• Perform respiratory care procedures including oxygen supply systems, equipment processing, manual resuscitation, oxygen administration, humidity and aerosol therapy, small volume nebulizer therapy, MDI administration, incentive spirometry, non-invasive mechanical airway clearance therapy, chest physiotherapy with suctioning, arterial puncture, electrocardiogram (if performed by hiring institute), and patient reporting.
