About The Position

The Lead RT will provide assistance with clinical education and leadership initiatives to the RT staff as well as assistance with day to day departmental operations. Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area manager. Employee must have the same licensure or have completed the same training to satisfy the requirements of the discipline of the student. Direct supervision means the primary caregiver is readily available to the student throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor, or Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with clinical education and leadership initiatives to the RT staff.
• Assist with day to day departmental operations.
• Supervise students at the discretion of the area manager.
