The Resources and Reimbursement Agent 1 will serve as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Conduct Financial Assessments for potential patients. Utilize Health Insurance Portals to determine the patient's source of reimbursement. Assist patients in obtaining Medicaid and private insurance. Serve as OASAS Resources and Reimbursement liaison with staff and other agencies. Maximize and track reimbursement through assertive billing and collection. May assist remotely or travel to other ATC locations to assist with RRA duties. Participate in activities intended to improve patient care and facility operations. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. OASAS Addiction Treatment Centers (ATCs) are Tobacco Free Facilities.
