About The Position

Idaho Power is looking for a Resource Technician II to join our Power Supply team. It's an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. The Resource Technician II assists in implementing hydroelectric project license compliance tasks, gathering, and entering data, operating, maintaining, and repairing infrastructure and equipment, and providing customer service to visitors on company-owned lands and facilities sometimes under limited supervision and with general oversight. They are aware of project history and context, applying such to make task-specific decisions. Their responsibilities include completing information summaries relative to task completion, providing documentation as requested for project activities conducted, and processing data to database(s). Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or ability to obtain within 3 months
  • 2 years of applicable experience
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card or ability to obtain prior to hire

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in relevant discipline such as agriculture, natural resources, or trade craft
  • 5 years of applicable experience
  • Operate vehicles pulling trailers
