About The Position

Idaho Power - located in vibrant Boise, Idaho - is looking for a Seasonal Resource Technician I to join our Power Supply team. It's an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. Our work plays a critical role in communities we serve across Idaho and Oregon, and we're working hard to safely provide our customers with the reliable, affordable, clean energy they depend on. The primary objective of this position is to assist in implementing hydroelectric project license compliance tasks, gathering and entering data, operating, maintaining and repairing infrastructure and equipment, and providing customer service to visitors on company-owned lands and facilities under supervision. Other responsibilities include completing basic information summaries relative to task completion, providing documentation as requested for project activities conducted, and processing data to database(s).

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or ability to obtain within 3 months of applying
• 3 months of directly related experience
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to obtain licenses or necessary certifications for specific additional job duties
• DOT medical card or ability to obtain prior to hire

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in relevant discipline such as agriculture, natural resources, or trade craft
• 3 years of applicable experience
• Licenses and certifications necessary to complete additional specific job duties (e.g., Idaho or Oregon pesticide applicator's license)
