Requirements
- Active California Education Specialist Instruction Credential Authorization in Mild/Moderate Support Needs
- Previous school-based Special Education or RSP experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and case management
- Experience supporting inclusion and general education collaboration
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Active California CTC clearance
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized academic instruction in reading, writing, math, and executive functioning
- Support students in pull-out, push-in, small-group, and 1:1 settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
- Manage caseload compliance and progress reporting
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with general education teachers on accommodations and modifications
- Conduct assessments and progress monitoring
- Maintain compliance with IDEA, California Ed Code, and district timelines
- Partner with families and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
