Requirements

  • Active California Education Specialist Instruction Credential Authorization in Mild/Moderate Support Needs
  • Previous school-based Special Education or RSP experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and case management
  • Experience supporting inclusion and general education collaboration
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Active California CTC clearance

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized academic instruction in reading, writing, math, and executive functioning
  • Support students in pull-out, push-in, small-group, and 1:1 settings
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
  • Manage caseload compliance and progress reporting
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with general education teachers on accommodations and modifications
  • Conduct assessments and progress monitoring
  • Maintain compliance with IDEA, California Ed Code, and district timelines
  • Partner with families and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
