About The Position

Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital and Hartgrove Behavioral Hospital are looking for dynamic experienced Registered Nurses for our new Resource Float Pool! Our Registered Nurses provide professional nursing care on assigned units in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Hospitals. Registered Nurses prescribe, coordinate and delegate nursing care utilizing the nursing process which is integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care. Registered Nurses are accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and are responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice. Registered Nurses are authorized to initiate restraints or seclusion and assess continuation. Requirements

• Current license to practice nursing in Illinois
• Minimum one year RN experience or prior LPN experience, preferably in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting
• Current CPR or BLS certification

Responsibilities

• RESOURCE RN POOL FOR GARFIELD PARK AND HARTGROVE BEHAVIORAL HOSPITALS.
• MUST COMMIT TO FLOAT TO EITHER HOPSITAL AS NEEDED.
• Registered Nurses prescribe, coordinate and delegate nursing care utilizing the nursing process which is integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care.
• Registered Nurses are accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and are responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice.
