Mentor and provide leadership to Energy Markets personnel. Maintain expertise and support the responsibilities of Energy Markets and Energy Management. Tri-State participates in the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) Western Energy Imbalance Service (WEIS), California Independent System Operator (CAISO) Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM) and bilateral markets within the operational and compliance parameters set forth by the regulations, reliability standards and business practices established by Tri-State ., the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), Regional Reliability Organizations (RRO) and the North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB). Note: There is one position available, and the position will be filled at one of four job grade levels: Resource Dispatch and Trading Trainee, job grade 7; Resource Dispatch and Trading Specialist I, job grade 8; Resource Dispatch and Trading Specialist II or Senior Resource Dispatch and Trading Specialist, job grade 10. This decision will be based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate selected, and Tri-State business needs at the time of hire.
