The Resource Coordinator serves as the administrator and gatekeeper of the Central Resources and Practices’ teams intake and scheduling process. This role owns the end-to-end workflow from regional business unit request submission through validation, prioritization, and assignment of appropriate resources.

Requirements

  • Experience in project coordination, scheduling, operations, or resource management.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, additional platforms, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate and regional business unit requests.
  • Review, validate, and approve incoming requests to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with established criteria.
  • Act as gatekeeper to ensure appropriate and properly scoped work is routed to Central Resources and Practices teams.
  • Communicate with requestors to clarify requirements or obtain missing information.
  • Own the full lifecycle of scheduling from intake to assignment.
  • Serve as a liaison between regional business units, Central Resources, the Practices, and any applicable third-party vendors/contractors.
  • Assign appropriate technical and/or practice resources based on scope, availability, skillset, and priority.
  • Maintain visibility into team capacity and workload balance.
  • Monitor deadlines and adjust schedules as needed to support changing business needs.
  • Support reporting needs related to intake volume, turnaround times, and resource utilization.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the intake and scheduling workflow.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures related to request management and resource allocation.
  • Identify process and/or skills gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure alignment between Central Resources and Practices teams in scheduling priorities and execution.
