About The Position

Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 13 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio. Requirements

  • Undergrad or master’s degree (done or in process) in the theological or pastoral field or equivalent
  • Equivalent degrees that will be considered: Masters or Doctoral degree in nursing, Masters or Doctoral degree in Counseling or Psychology, Masters or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Or meaningful and comparable ministerial-pastoral experience assessed by the CPE center's admissions committee.
  • Congregational pastoral experience preferred.
  • Personal commitment to God.
  • Personal integrity, emotional stability, sound physical health, and an ability to work under stress.
  • Effectively relates to persons of diverse religious, educational, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Demonstrates ability to earn respect of nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Nice To Haves

  • Congregational pastoral experience preferred.
