Teksouth is seeking a skilled Resource Advisor to provide onsite support for the AFCENT organization and its tenants. This role requires an active Secret Clearance and involves a variety of responsibilities centered around budget management and financial analysis. The Resource Advisor will be responsible for performing Tri-Annual Reviews, following up on aged commitments and obligations, and conducting MORD reviews. The position also entails tracking the progress of funding documents from submission through certification, as well as assisting with responses to USAFCENT calls for budget data, including Execution Plans, Spend Plans, and Unfunded requests. In addition to these tasks, the Resource Advisor will respond to short-notice requests from USAFCENT for information related to current and prior year execution. A critical part of the role involves preparing detailed analyses of annual and multi-year budget estimates for assigned organizations, as well as managing deployed and re-deployed resources and programs into a consolidated budget request. The advisor will monitor obligations incurred and actual expenditures of a budget across various funding sources and types. The successful candidate will utilize USAF and DoD financial systems such as CRIS, GAFS, ABSS, DTS, DEAMS, IAPS, WAWF, FM Suite, and DTIM to accomplish budgeting assignments. Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, is essential for developing charts and briefings for executive and senior-level presentations. The Resource Advisor will also manipulate data using spreadsheets to create usable information for AFCENT financial managers and leadership, respond to directed budget drills, and research and resolve financial transactions that cause out-of-balance conditions. Additionally, the advisor will provide end-of-month data and statistics to track the quantity and quality of services provided, and perform necessary follow-ups to resolve aged travel obligations identified.
