As a Resort Reservation Agent at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa, you will report to the Resort Reservations Manager. Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional, friendly, and engaging service to guests, communicating with customers through various channels to understand their desires, and designing personalized stays. You will utilize various booking platforms to manage reservations for rooms, spa services, and food & beverage offerings. Additionally, you will assist with VIP reservations, promote the loyalty program, coordinate pre-stay needs, and adhere to departmental policies and health and safety standards.

  • Consistently offer exceptional, friendly and engaging service
  • Communicate with inquiring customers and future guests of the Hotel through phone, email and the Hotel text messaging services to understand their desires and design a personalized stay at the property
  • Utilize various booking platforms to book Room, Spa and Food & Beverage Reservations
  • Have complete knowledge of room product, spa services and F&B offerings, including rates, deals, products, and special events
  • Assist with VIP reservations and room blocks
  • Promote our 'ALL' Loyalty-program to ensure that guests are aware of its many benefits and to maximize participation
  • Coordinate pre-stay arrival needs and handle pre-stay needs
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Follow all health and safety policies
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Previous Hotel reservation experience preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of Excel with fluency in spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, TravelClick, ResaWeb, Passkey, Opera PMS / ORS, NOR1, TARS, IdeaS RMS, or comparable programs
  • Analytical and organized with a service-focused personality and passion for hospitality
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Belief in a strong team culture
  • Able to speak, read and write English
