About The Position

We are seeking a Resort Driver to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. The Resort Driver will be responsible for acknowledging and welcoming all guests/visitors arriving to/from the hotel at the lobby entrance or inside the lobby. This role will act as a lobby liaison and provide directions and assistance to all guests regarding the property. As the Resort Driver, this role will be the designated House Car driver to our guests who require drop-off transportation in the local area. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, receiving and processing all payments for vehicle parking charges, courteously and efficiently in accordance with hotel standards, along with settling all guest checks in the computer system and maintaining accountabilities for all financial transactions. We have a full-time position available. This role is a flexible position (AM / PM), and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights.

Requirements

  • Valid Florida driver's license.
  • Excellent driving record including zero moving violations within the past 6 months.
  • Ability to provide legible communication and directions.
  • Ability to compute mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, visitors, management and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Ability to input and access information into computer system.
  • Ability to maintain concentration and think clearly in a noisy environment with high traffic.
  • Ability to focus on details and resolve numerical problems.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
  • Ability to promote positive relations with guests and staff alike.
  • Ability to provide clear and pleasant telephone communication.
  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.
