About The Position

The Resort Activities Attendant is responsible for our guests and owners' experience from arrival through the end of their stay by creating customer delight in every interaction and exceeding expectations. This position assists in the daily planning, implementation, and facilitation of a variety of planned Activities for our guests and owners, including yoga, water sports & games, arts & crafts, bingo, movie nights, and other fun and games. Make recommendations on activities and events based on guest/owner preferences. They will ensure the guests' expectations are exceeded throughout their entire stay and create customer delight in every interaction.

Requirements

  • 1 plus years of related experience preferred
  • Must have a strong knowledge of the Las Vegas area and the attractions and activities that occur
  • Ability to follow prescribed procedures and guidelines in accomplishing tasks as described above
  • Ability to be self-directed
  • Skill in attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Must have strong verbal and written skills to communicate with the guests/owners
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and be able to obtain an Alcohol Awareness Card and a Clark County Health card
  • Ability to work outside in all kinds of weather
  • Ability to swim and lead in water activities
  • This position will be 75% outdoors at the pool during the summer months
  • Must be available to work between 7:00AM-7:00PM
  • Must be available to work weekends
  • Ability to obtain a food handler's card within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to speak multiple languages is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assists in Planning and facilitation of activities, and actively communicates activities and events to all Owners and Guests
  • Ensures excellent customer service as it relates to our activities and functions property-wide
  • Monitors all activities to ensure the safety and security of all owners and guests
  • Partner with other departments to assist guests and owners. May provide food and beverage service to guests poolside
  • The computer is used to prepare communications/flyers to be used throughout the resort. Ensure guest/owner expectations are exceeded
  • Assist with keeping the pool area clean and sanitized
  • Monitoring social distancing in the pool area
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
