Make sure you have all necessary supplies at the start or your shift. When called to cut sheet make sure you respond ASAP if able to leave work station. All regrind that is stored in a tote needs to be labeled with the correct label covered and stored in the designated area. Load Recycle trailer with scrap and recycle totes and replace the recycle totes as needed. Fill out “Motorized Inspection Form” for the forklift that you use during your shift. This needs to completed daily at the beginning of your shift. When loading resin onto a trailer you need to fill out a “Load Sheet” with the JDE#, weight of each tote, your badge number, trailer number, date and destination of that trailer. After inspecting the trailer, fill out the Shuttle Trailer Inspection Verification Sheet (FCD-00141). Follow all HACCP, SQF, and GMP standards at all times. Know and understand Important ISO Information (WI-00377) and Important SQF Information (WI-00460). Know what your cleaning tasks are, how to safely complete the task, where the cleaning tasks books are kept and to sign off on them. Keep work area clean and safe. Any other task that is asked of them

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent .Or previous experience.
  • Organizational Skills.
  • Must have good work and attendance record at Berry Plastics.
  • Good reading comprehension and basic math skills
  • Be a team player.
  • Able to work with limited supervision.
  • Must possess valid drivers license
  • Fork Truck experience with certification
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds to waist level.
  • Ability to handle and pull full totes with fork truck.
  • Must be able to ascend and descend ladders
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop during entire shift.
