About The Position

Insituform Technologies, LLC is looking for a Laboratory Technician Insituform Technologies, a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions, is a leading worldwide provider of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) and other technologies and services for the rehabilitation of pipeline systems. Insituform's businesses consist of sewer, drinking water, and energy and mining pipeline rehabilitation and protection. The company provides cost-effective solutions to remediate operational, health, regulatory and environmental problems resulting from aging and defective pipelines. Insituform's technologies allow its customers to avoid the extraordinary expense and extreme disruption that can result from traditional "dig and replace" methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field
• 2 years of laboratory experience required, some resin-related lab experience preferred
• Chemistry background with ability to understand the Chemistry of Resin and reactivity of our products preferred
• Strong computer skills with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Good understanding of laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and regulatory standards, etc.
• Ability to travel occasionally

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and analysis and support the development and implementation of new methodologies and protocols for the development of resin used in CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) technologies
• Conduct laboratory tests and experiments in accordance with established procedures and regulatory standards
• Provide assistance in setting up R&D testing shots in Chesterfield campus
• Provide assistance for NSF Certification Testing
