This Term-Limited Temporary (TLT) / Special Duty Assignment position serves as a backfill for the Resilient Communities Policy and Community Engagement Manager role. The position focuses on advancing the priorities of the Veterans, Seniors, and Human services Levy's (VSHSL) Resilient Communities initiatives through policy development, community engagement, and strategic advising. Key focus areas include Immigrant and Refugee support, Re-entry and Criminal Justice, and Civil Legal Aid, and more. The manager will build and maintain strong partnership with community organizations, coalitions, and Division leaders while supporting policies and initiatives to improve the quality of life for resilient communities in King County. Additionally, the manager will staff the King County Women's Advisory board, providing support and coordination to ensure the board's effective operation and alignment with the King County's True North Values. This role requires a collaborative, equity-focused approach to addressing systemic barriers and promoting community resilience. This work is done mainly in community, with some in-office requirements.
