Residential Worker - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Northeast Counseling Services is currently seeking a per-diem Residential Worker for our Personal Care Home in Drums, PA. The individual provides residents assistance during second shift. The Residential Worker shall provide residents with assistance, as needed, with personal hygiene, including bathing, oral hygiene, hair grooming, dressing, and shaving. The Residential Worker may also assume a therapeutic role with patients in tasks of daily living to include securing transportation, care of personal possessions, social and leisure activities, ambulation, eating, making and keeping appointments, shopping, and other areas if needed.
Requirements
- The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, and a desire to work in human services.
- It also requires unshakable commitment to, and belief in, the value and dignity of the human individual.
- This position requires the successful completion of an FBI Clearance, PA Criminal Clearance and Child Abuse Clearance.
