Sign on Bonus after 60days HOURS: Part - time, 10-20 hours, SALARY: $16-$17 per hour. Dependent on experience and qualifications. A Day in the life of a Residential Counselor at Canyon Hills Center: Ensure child protection policies are followed. Safeguard residents and staff through appropriate physical intervention if necessary. Transport residents and uphold health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Residential Worker: Must have a High School Diploma, or GED.
- Experience working with children.
- Possess an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Be at least 21 years old and willing to complete agency background checks.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license or obtain one with approved driver status.
- Residential Counselor: Hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral or social sciences (preferred), OR Have completed at least 60 semester credits and have one year of experience working with children, OR Possess an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Be at least 21 years old and willing to complete agency background checks.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license or obtain one with approved driver status.
