About The Position

We are hiring for: Residential Unit Clerk / 2nd and 3rd shift Type: Regular If you are a positive and personable individual looking for a satisfying and fun opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with intellectual, developmental disabilities, and people facing mental health, and substance use challenges, join our team at RHA Health Services! Provides oversight at residential homes on 2nd and 3rd shift on a rotating schedule including some weekends. Ensures personal care and services are provided to persons with disabilities in residential homes. Relies on direction and supervision to accomplish tasks. Pay: $18 an hour Schedule: Rotating schedule on 2nd and 3rd shift including some weekends

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A valid, unrestricted driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Regularly required to lift 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to pull a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.
  • Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Required to regularly stand and walk.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing, and lifting.
  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
  • Must be able to talk and hear.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the homes at various times on 2nd and 3rd shift
  • Completes reports and assessments as directed by manager
  • Report all changes in the supported individual’s condition to the RN immediately.
  • Report all accidents and incidents observed to the RN immediately.
  • Report injuries of an unknown source, including skin tears and bruises.
  • Report defective equipment to the RN.
  • Report all grievances and complaints made by the supported individuals.
  • Report all allegations of supported individual abuse and/or misappropriate use of people supported property.
  • Attends trainings and meetings as directed by manager
  • Other duties as assigned.
