About The Position

As a Residential Treatment Tech, you'll support youth as they develop the life skills and resilience they need to thrive in a supportive and mission-driven environment. Starting Pay: $20.40/hr with scheduled raises based on performance! Additional rates for AA ($21.40/hr) and Bachelor’s degrees ($22.40/hr). Sign-On Bonus: $500 for new hires if referred by current KV staff (paid after 6 months of full-time employment). Shift Openings: Second (1:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.) and Third (11:00 p.m. - 9:00 a.m.) Additional shift differentials: $1/hr Mon-Thu and $2/hr Fri-Sun for 4:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Full Benefits: • Excellent medical, dental, vision, and retirement for full-time staff • Free meals while on shift • Partial college tuition reimbursement & PSLF-qualified employer • Fully supported training and ongoing learning opportunities & leadership growth opportunities Responsibilities: As a Residential Treatment Technician, you will support the physical and emotional well-being of residents, help them build positive life skills, and provide transportation and supervision for daily activities. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Valid Illinois Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Physical Requirements: ability to sit, stand, walk, lift (5-20lbs), and climb stairs as required. May involve exposure to various noise levels and outdoor temperatures.
  • Mental Requirements: General intelligence, effective verbal skills, and ability to perform basic arithmetic. Coordination of eyes, hands, and feet.
  • Work Conditions: may require occasional double shifts
