Residential Treatment Specialist l On-Call
About The Position
Become a vital part of our compassionate team at Unity House, a residential treatment program dedicated to supporting individuals aged 18 and older who are facing substance use disorders. As a Residential Treatment Specialist, you will play a key role in implementing daily program activities while offering crucial emotional and social support to our patients. Requirements
- Associate's degree in a related field or actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- BLS for healthcare workers
- 1 year experience in a healthcare setting
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Provide support to patients through counseling sessions and strategies
- Participate in 1:1 counseling sessions as well as in group settings
- Work closely with clinical supervisor regarding patients any concerns
- Assist with transfer and discharge processes
- Transport patients to and from program activities
- Document necessary information into computer systems
