About The Position

Our therapists provide trauma-informed case management and therapy to children and adolescents who are enrolled in residential and/or acute programs. In the role of a Residential Therapist, they engage closely with hospital liaisons, schools, mental health centers, and the community to address the individualized needs of each client on their caseload through collaborative endeavors. KVC is a nonprofit child placing and behavioral health agency with a long legacy of compassionately serving children and families. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling
  • LMSW, LCSW, PLPC OR LPC licensure/certification
  • Knowledge of clinical theory, therapy, and systems
  • Analytical ability necessary to handle moderately complex administrative details such as preparing nonrecurring reports
  • Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload with attention to detail
  • Proficient in Word and email applications
  • Must be able to work productively and respectfully with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds
