About The Position

Our Client is a fast-growing roofing company based in Charlotte, NC looking for a high-energy Residential Territory Sales Manager who wakes up excited to sell and compete. This is not a desk job — it’s for someone who loves being in the field, meeting homeowners, building relationships, and closing deals. Our Client invests heavily in marketing, lead generation, and brand reputation, so you will not be starting from scratch. The team provides qualified leads through digital marketing, referrals, and an existing network. Your job is to convert opportunities, create additional ones, and dominate your territory. If you are a self-starter, competitive, and driven by performance and income, this role offers tremendous upside. Territory This position manages a 30-mile radius territory surrounding Charlotte, North Carolina. You will be responsible for developing and growing residential roofing sales within this market.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of residential roofing sales experience
  • Proven track record of closing residential roofing projects
  • Highly motivated self-starter who loves selling and competing
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, disciplined, and comfortable working independently
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow income and responsibility
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Comfortable working in a field-based sales environment
  • Ability to inspect roofs and walk job sites

Responsibilities

  • Meet with homeowners to inspect roofs, identify needs, and present roofing solutions
  • Manage inbound leads generated by the company’s marketing and referral network
  • Generate additional opportunities through canvassing, referrals, and local networking
  • Provide accurate estimates and present proposals to homeowners
  • Follow up with prospects and maintain a strong closing ratio
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Educate homeowners on roofing systems, insurance processes, and replacement options
  • Maintain clear communication throughout the sales and project process
  • Ensure customers receive a high-quality experience from first contact through project completion
  • Build relationships with homeowners, property managers, real estate professionals, and community contacts
  • Represent the company professionally in the local market
  • Identify opportunities to grow market share within your territory
  • Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Maintain accurate CRM records for leads, estimates, and closed projects
