Residential Technicians, under the supervision of the Residential Technician Supervisor, are responsible for completing tasks related to management of member behavior in the therapeutic residential program. Residential Technicians maintain the member activity schedule, supervise members, and assists members in benefiting from program services through the use of appropriate crisis prevention and de-escalation skills. Residential Technicians document member behavior, participation in programming, and communicate pertinent member information to other members of the multidisciplinary clinical team. The Haven endorses a trauma-informed care approach and a medical model of SUD treatment. Additional Purpose for Residential Technician I The Residential Technician I, under the supervision of the Residential Technician Supervisor, acts in a lead position and assists the Residential Technician Team in maintaining smooth operations during each assigned shift.
