What to Expect: TCV is currently seeking a dedicated and responsible person to fill our full-time Residential Team Lead for our Intellectual Disabilities Division (IDD) in the greater Pittsburgh area. The Residential Team Lead plays a critical role in fulfilling the mission of TCV by providing an array of supports and trainings to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that will enable them to increase their level of independence and improve their quality of life; and by assisting the Residential Supervisor with all facets of the program operation. Requirements

  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • A High School diploma or GED AND three (3) years of related experience; OR an associate's degree in human services AND one (1) year of related experience; OR a bachelor’s degree in human services and six (6) months of related experience. (Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities required.)
  • Valid driver's license & 3 years of a clean driving record.
  • Agree to a PA state criminal history, child abuse record and FBI Clearance.
  • Agree to a pre-employment drug screening, one-step TB and physical.
  • Have experience with the developmentally disabled or as a care provider (ADL required in care delivery).
  • Be empathetic, patient with behaviors and can apply the techniques taught.
  • Be able to lift up to 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence and improved quality of life.
  • Assist the Residential Supervisor with daily operations and overall program oversight.
  • Implement individualized service plans using positive, strengths-based approaches.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to direct support staff.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and compliant residential environment.
  • Foster community involvement and social integration for residents.
