Residential Support Specialist – Dulcinea (On Call)
About The Position
Residential Support Specialist will work Saturday and Sunday from 2pm-10pm and on-call as needed. Responsible for providing rehabilitative stabilization services for adults with severe mental illness or dually diagnosed. Residential Support Specialist teaches in-vivo independent, social, and daily living skills taking into consideration the participant’s learning style, strengths and needs. Assists participants in the acquisition and practice of daily living skills. The Residential Support Specialist Monitors participants’ symptoms and medication utilization regularly. Maintains an organized, clean, and safe home environment. Provides crisis management services in consultation with program supervisor. Documents all services using program protocols.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency (GED).
- Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings, holidays during emergencies or staff shortage.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in the human services field preferred.
- Experience working with multi-ethnic populations.
