About The Position

As a Residential Direct Support Professional (caregiver) at Clarvida, you will support adults with developmental disabilities in their home setting. Your role will involve providing support to 1-4 individuals who are working toward goals that will help them live a more independent and everyday life. You will be responsible for providing social, emotional, and environmental supports to ensure the happiness, health, and safety of the residents. Additionally, you will assist with household duties and supervise residents in performing these duties to ensure that the residents and facility are clean, safe, and secure at all times. This position mainly requires 2nd shift staff, working from 2 pm to 11 pm.

Requirements

• High school graduate or possession of a general equivalency diploma (GED) is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with developmental disabilities in their home setting.
• Provide social, emotional, and environmental supports to residents.
• Assist with household duties and supervise residents in performing these duties.
• Ensure the happiness, health, and safety of the residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and security of the facility.
