About The Position
The Residential Supervisor CO-OP position is a full-time role based in the Dighton/Taunton area, primarily working Sunday through Thursday with some flexibility in scheduling. This role is crucial in developing and administering a variety of services and supports aimed at enriching the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. The responsibilities encompass case management, transportation, fostering social relationships, and providing support in recreational, therapeutic, and personal living skills. The Residential Supervisor will oversee the operations of one residential house, ensuring that the needs of the residents are met effectively and compassionately. In this position, the supervisor will work closely with a team to create a supportive and engaging environment for residents. This includes coordinating activities, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The role requires a strong commitment to the well-being of individuals with disabilities, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both residents and staff. The supervisor will also be responsible for training and mentoring staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide high-quality care and support. The position offers a competitive salary starting at $21.75 per hour, along with a newly increased pay rate and a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000.
