About The Position

The Residential Supervisor ensures coordination of services and continuity of care for residents. The Residential Supervisor develops and establishes intensive outreach strategies to maintain program capacity and ensures adherence to DHS and COA residential requirements. The Residential Supervisor oversees the assessment, admission, and residential reintegration of individuals adjudicated Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI) as they transition from state psychiatric hospitalization to community living. The Residential Supervisor monitors the delivery of behavioral health services and ensures continuous quality improvement in relation to program goals and standards. The Residential Supervisor works closely with other programs and service providers in the community to increase participants’ access to needed services and to strengthen community relationships. The Residential Supervisor monitors program staff performance and the quality and documentation of their services. The Residential Supervisor identifies and seeks program development opportunities and actively participates in bringing these opportunities to fruition.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, criminal justice or related social services area from an accredited university or college
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to meet program needs
  • Experience working with a diverse population in a social service setting required
  • Available to work all shifts and days to ensure proper supervision of staff and coverage
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid IL driving license
  • Must pass background check
  • Licensed use of a car, current car insurance and driving record acceptable to Agency insurance carrier
