People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Residential Supervisor to join our Scott House Program, a long-term residential program working with deaf and hard of hearing clients. This full-time supervisory position provides the supervision, selection, and training of assigned staff. This role will provide program oversight to ensure that services meet the standards of People Incorporated in a manner that is consistent with the Mission, Vision and Values of the organization. American Sign Language (ASL) is the primary mode of communication for those who are deaf or hard of hearing. The Residential Supervisor will be supported by Team Leaders who have been with the organization for many years. Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30p, on-call rotation on the weekends once a month at the scope of Scott House and three other locations. The need to travel is very rare. There will be some after-hour calls that may need to be taken. Millage is paid if you have to be on call $.70 to the mile Location: 7573 Scott Avenue N., Minneapolis, MN 55443 Hiring Range: Un-Licensed Supervisor: $55,016 - $61,888.32 Salary, dependent on qualifications, plus $2,000 hiring bonus to external candidates Licensed Supervisor: $78,000 - $82,000, plus a $2,000 hiring bonus. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or related field (i.e. social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy from an accredited college or university)
  • Two years or 4,000 hours of prior experience in the human services field with a preference towards experience providing services to individuals with mental health symptoms.
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 3 years (6,000 hours) of experience providing direct mental health care services.
  • 0-1 years of prior supervisory or leadership experience or ability to complete L2L training.
  • American Sign Language skills, or willingness to learn ASL.
  • Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or related field (i.e. social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy from an accredited college or university)
  • Current clinical license as a mental health professional in the State of Minnesota (LP, LPCC, LICSW, or LMFT) with no restrictions, OR current unrestricted LADC license as permitted by program requirements.
  • OR proof of current clinical licensure as described above within 60 days of employment
  • Two years or 4,000 hours of prior experience in the human services field with a preference towards experience providing services to individuals with mental health symptoms.
  • 0-1 years of prior supervisory or leadership experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference of Two years prior supervisory experience in the delivery of behavioral health services
  • Strongly prefer current clinical license as a mental health professional in the State of Minnesota (LP, LPCC, LICSW, or LMFT) with no restrictions
  • Prefer eligibility as a State of Minnesota Board-approved supervisor, dependent upon program requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support organization’s Mission, Vision and Values as well as program and organizational policies, procedures and service standards, ensuring staff understand and integrate accordingly.
  • Supervise the work of assigned program staff to ensure adherence to quality standards and proper procedures, providing coaching when errors or problems are discovered and conducting regular 1:1 supervision with all assigned employees.
  • Provide training, assess strengths and development needs, and provide timely and specific feedback on job duties, company policies and best practices.
  • Coordinate staff meetings and program scheduling, ensuring that proper coverage occurs. May co-facilitate meetings with others as needed.
  • In partnership with other program leaders, review program procedures and service standards, establish proper authority relationships among members of the work group, and create a congenial work environment.
