About The Position

- The Residential Supervisor I at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential facility, ensuring a safe, supportive, and structured environment for residents. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a residential setting or with behavioral health populations.
  • Experience in supervising staff and managing team dynamics.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in a residential care setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for documentation and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a team of residential staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the facility and its residents by enforcing rules and regulations.
  • Coordinate and oversee daily activities and programs designed to support residents' personal growth and development.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise among residents or staff in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care, staff performance, and facility operations.
  • Communicate regularly with family members, guardians, and external agencies to provide updates on resident progress and address any concerns.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
