Mountain Home Montana is seeking a full-time Residential Shift Lead that supports the daily functioning of the Residential Program by providing consistent on-shift leadership, coordination, accountability, and real-time support while maintaining a thorough understanding of RCC responsibilities and stepping into direct care and shift coverage as needed. This role helps maintain steady, predictable operations, support RCC staff through guidance and problem-solving, and promote a calm, trauma-informed environment for residents and children. The Residential Shift Lead serves as the primary on-shift point of contact for operational problem-solving, shift coordination, and oversight of day-to-day systems and documentation practices that support communication, safety, compliance, program structure, and operational readiness. The role supports the Residential Program Director by elevating trends, needs, and concerns and reinforcing consistent implementation of program expectations. The Residential Shift Lead participates in the Tier 2 on-call rotation, supporting the Residential Program Director in responding to after-hours needs by providing situational information and immediate stabilization support to on site staff. This position requires a BS/BA Degree in social work, psychology, human services. At least 4 years of experience providing direct support or services to children, adolescents, or adults who have experienced trauma, housing instability, or behavioral health challenges. Working knowledge of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), Trauma-Informed Care, and strengths-based approaches. Proficiency with spreadsheets and shared trackers (Google Sheets and/or Excel), including accurate data entry, formatting for clarity, and maintaining shared documents. Strong communication skills and ability to coach peers in the moment with professionalism and respect. Reliability, dependability, and strong time-management skills. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within a designated time frame). What Else You Should Know This position is full-time, 30 + hours/week. This position reports to the Residential Program Director and does not supervise others. The role requires local travel (~ 30% of the time utilizing company vehicles). The hourly wage range for this position is Level 2 ($19.00 - $26.00/hr) with the hired individual’s wage calculated using Mountain Home’s equitable wage matrix.
