About The Position

The Department of Human Services, Selinsgrove Center is seeking a Residential Services Supervisor to play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and success of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Requirements

  • Three years of professional experience providing therapeutic care and services for individuals with a developmental disability, including the development and implementation of individual residential support plans and services, and possession of an active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
  • One year of professional experience providing therapeutic care and services for individuals with a developmental disability, including the development and implementation of individual residential support plans and services, and a bachelor's degree in human services, behavioral sciences, education, or nursing.
  • Two years of professional experience providing therapeutic care and services for individuals with a developmental disability, including the development and implementation of individual residential support plans and services, and a bachelor's degree.
  • Must meet the qualifications of a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations.
  • Must meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and implementing individual support plans tailored to the specific needs of individuals.
  • Work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure the effectiveness of support plans.
  • Manage incidents involving assigned individuals, ensuring proper reporting, review, and analysis.
  • Identify patterns in incidents and implement strategies to ensure individuals' health and safety.
