About The Position

Path of Life Ministries (POLM) is a 501c3 organization serving those experiencing homelessness in the greater Riverside area. Our strategy is to provide a holistic system of care in an integrated, seamless manner for individuals and families, leading them from a place of crisis to a life of stability and self-sufficiency. Our goal is to walk people home. We seek talented and compassionate individuals able to thrive in a high-capacity and complex landscape of providing human services in a non-profit setting. Position Overview Residential Services Staff are responsible for assisting guests and other staff and maintaining the quality of daily activities and services at Path of Life Ministries sites. All Residential Services Staff are responsible for monitoring within and around the premises to which they are assigned, assisting with food service, monitoring and reporting on the condition of the site and assisting with general maintenance, conducting daily janitorial duties, helping to create and maintain a safe encouraging and positive atmosphere within the program, assisting with guest relations including intakes, guest requests, grievances and compliance issues, assisting with volunteer and visitor relations, and other daily operational duties as assigned or requested. Residential Services Staff must work closely with supervisors on emergency decisions and/or giving direction to subordinate Interns according to the policy, procedures, principles, and values of Path of Life Ministries.

Requirements

  • Employment eligibility verification.
  • Successful completion of background screening.
  • Must have or obtain a Riverside County Food Handlers Card
  • Must have or obtain slip-resistant shoes
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays assigned.

Responsibilities
