About The Position
Experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician - Up to $5,000 sign on bonus Job Summary The Service Technician Assistant supports lead technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and energy-efficient systems. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the energy services industry while developing technical skills and customer service expertise.
Requirements
- 3 years HVAC technician experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with installing, servicing, and repairing HVAC systems and energy-saving equipment
- Prepare and maintain tools, materials, and job sites
- Help diagnose system issues and perform basic troubleshooting
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and service vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service while on-site
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately
