About The Position

Mikes Mechanical is looking for a HVAC Service Tech! The HVAC Service Tech will provide routine maintenance and service to residential customers as well as trouble shoot issues and provide solutions.

Requirements

• Previous HVAC residential service technician experience or enrolled in appropriate schooling (determined by management).
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screening.
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
• Must have excellent organizational skills.
• Must have good oral and written communications skills.
• Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
• Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have basic computer skills and be able to utilize mobile device throughout the workday.
• 5+ years experience as an HVAC residential service technician.
• Must have a valid driver license and clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Runs diagnostics, completes repairs, and runs routine maintenance on residential gas furnaces, electric furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioning units, ductless mini-splits, duct work, etc.
• Educate customers by offering proactive repairs, system upgrades, and maintenance agreements.
• Use an iPad to create customer invoices and communicate with the office.
• Travel to job sites within the service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in your company vehicle.
• Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.
• Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain and replacement parts, calibrate system to manufactures recommendations.
• Other duties as assigned.
