About The Position

You will work with homebuyers, builders, contractors, and take calls from prospects. Work with clients in our 5,000 sq. ft. Technology Showroom or meet customers at their home to create designs for small to large automation systems. Create bids using our bid software and meet with customers back at our showroom to finalize the deal. We have a great reputation and have a lot of fun.

Requirements

  • 3 years or more of selling A/V equipment and related home technology
  • Must have sold within the last 2 years
  • Fully understand low voltage and technology
  • Clean cut appearance and well spoken
  • Team Player - We are a very tight knit team and seek someone looking for long term
  • Reliable - Show up early, do what you say you will, be someone we can count on
  • Honesty - We run a clean shop and will not tolerate stealing or lying
  • Motivated - We need someone that will be proactive and organized
  • Willing to work Saturday
  • Must possess computer skills and have working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote, D-Tools, Outlook and CRM - knowledge of d-tools, a plus.
  • Knowing AV brands such as Crestron, Control 4, Origin Acoustics, Snap AV, Legrand, Sonance, Sony, Samsung, Apple, and many other AV brands are a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowing Mac computers, a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of our products & services.
  • Will be trained on all aspects of the job and his/her market concentration. Will then be responsible for developing new accounts and managing those relationships.
  • Work with sales and marketing team to develop strategic plans and accomplish goals.
  • Schedule and travel to client's offices to conduct meetings.
  • Research/generate new client leads and increase client base through active sales.
  • Represent the company with a professional demeanor and appearance.
