About The Position

Key Point Health Services is a leading nonprofit agency dedicated to serving individuals with behavioral healthcare needs in the Greater Baltimore area. The organization provides comprehensive community-based services, including Outpatient Mental Health Centers, Adult and Child Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs, School-Based Therapy, Community Outreach, and Residential Services. The agency is currently seeking a Residential Counselor to join its City Residential team in Dundalk, MD. This role involves providing comprehensive services through both on-site and off-site programs, supporting clients in achieving their goals and integrating within the community.

Requirements

High school diploma
No experience required!
Valid and active Maryland driver's license (or state of residence)(must be active for at least 3 years)
Pass a criminal background check, MVA check, and pre-employment drug screening.
Must have own vehicle.
Someone who has a passion for working with individuals with a mental illness or a willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

Experience in psychiatric rehab, mental health, human services, and/or customer service field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the comprehensive services offered through on-site and off-site programs.
Includes assessment, case management, psycho education, crisis intervention, advocacy, and community liaison.
Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of all documentation such as treatment plans and progress notes.
Responsible for medication monitoring and education to support self-dosing of medication.
Responsible for teaching community skills including ADLs as needed.
Must drive 15 passenger vans to transport clients.
