About The Position

Amego Inc. is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services within a residential setting. The RBT will provide direct support to individuals with ASD or developmental disabilities to promote skill development, independence, and behavioral growth under the ongoing supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Requirements

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record (if applicable).
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field (preferred).
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB.
  • At least 6 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred).
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Physically able to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, or standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) developed and overseen by the BCBA.
  • Deliver direct ABA therapy across home and community environments.
  • Collect and record data accurately on target behaviors and skill acquisition programs using Amego-approved data systems.
  • Support residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, meal preparation, communication, and social interactions.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment, ensuring the health and well-being of all individuals.
  • Utilize crisis intervention strategies when necessary, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Participate in regular communication and collaboration with the supervising BCBA and interdisciplinary team.
  • Attend all required training sessions, staff meetings, and supervision hours to maintain professional competence.
  • Uphold HIPAA, ethical standards, and Amego’s confidentiality policies at all times.
