About The Position
BCHLASALLE, LLC, a real estate and development company established over 40 years ago, is seeking a seasoned and experienced on-site residential property manager for a gold coast location in downtown Chicago. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the capability for critical thinking. A strong background in leasing and a proven track record in managing large non-subsidized multi-unit apartment complexes is essential. A history of professional advancement is preferred, indicating a commitment to growth and excellence in the field. The role requires a minimum of three years of successful experience as a residential property manager, specifically managing complexes or buildings with over 200 units and maintaining low vacancy rates. Candidates should have strong experience in online advertising through platforms such as Craigslist, Zillow, Domu, and Apartment.com. Additionally, the ability to professionally interact with tenants and resolve their issues is crucial. The candidate must also be capable of personally showing and leasing apartments, providing leadership, motivation, and direction for the building staff. Flexibility in working hours is necessary, including late days to accommodate apartment showings between 5-7 PM, and working half days on Saturdays is also required.
