About The Position

The Residential Programs Coordinator at Harvard University plays a vital role in supporting the administrative and event management aspects of the Residential Life programs. Reporting directly to the Director of Residential Programs, this position is responsible for coordinating a variety of events and initiatives aimed at enhancing the undergraduate experience. The coordinator will engage with a diverse range of constituents, including students, faculty, and external partners, to foster a vibrant and inclusive community. This role requires a proactive approach to event planning, risk management, and collaboration with various campus departments to ensure the successful execution of programs such as the First-Year Experience (FYE), Sophomore Orientation, and Housing Day events. In terms of programming support, the coordinator will oversee the execution of numerous events throughout the academic year, including weekly newsletters, canvas modules, and large-scale events that cater to a significant number of students.
