About The Position
Capital District Psychiatric Center is currently recruiting a Residential Program Specialist to supervise and provide services to individuals with mental illness who live in a State Operated Community Residence (SOCR). Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply. As a Residential Program Specialist, you will assist in the management and administration of the SOCR, including: Providing and monitoring residential program services, Advising residents how to use appropriate coping and living skills to assist in their recovery, Reviewing and coordinating resident admission and discharge planning program, Scheduling resident activities and supervision to ensure appropriate staffing levels are met.
