About The Position

Position Summary: The Primary Therapist is responsible for providing accurate biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, group/individual/family therapy and crisis intervention. Pinnacle Peak Recovery Mission: We are a mental health and substance use treatment provider located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Our program focuses on a comprehensive and holistic approach to overcoming addiction and mental health disorders in a safe, confidential, and supportive environment. We offer nationally recognized, evidence-based treatment options including MAT. Our clinic aspires to the highest level of care and is proud to have received accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). About Pinnacle Peak Pinnacle Peak Recovery is a inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment facility located in Scottsdale, Arizona. We offer nationally recognized, evidence-based treatment options. Our program focuses on a comprehensive and holistic approach to overcoming addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders in a safe, confidential and supportive environment. Our Scottsdale drug rehab aspires to the highest level of care and is proud to have received accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Full Continuum of Care and Personalized Treatment At Pinnacle Peak we offer an extensive continuum of care. This includes extended care, medication assisted treatment (MAT), primary care treatment, outpatient treatment, family programs, alumni services and relapse prevention. Our personalized treatment experience starts with one of our master’s level therapists working with the client to construct a therapy program suited to their unique needs.

Requirements

  • Experience in the treatment of substance use/co-occurring disorders
  • Experience working in interdisciplinary teams
  • Computer proficiency (EHR's, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Required licensure: LAAC, LAC, LMSW, LIAC, LPC, or LCSW
  • Must have at least two (2) years of sobriety if incumbent has disclosed they are in recovery.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification and experience in trauma therapy is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments and other screening tools as required.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, family and group therapy.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation.
  • Participate in individual and group clinical supervision.
  • Work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
