Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (trade school a plus).
1+ year of plumbing installation experience preferred.
Knowledge of residential plumbing systems and local plumbing codes.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces, attics, and crawlspaces.
Professional appearance and communication skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours and attend ongoing training.

Responsibilities

Install water, gas, and sewer lines, fixtures, and water heaters in residential homes.
Interpret blueprints and follow plumbing codes and job specifications.
Perform rough-in, top-out, and final trim of plumbing systems.
Test systems for leaks and proper operation.
Maintain a clean, organized job site and company vehicle.
Communicate clearly with homeowners and answer installation-related questions.
Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and other trades on site.
Ensure all work meets safety, code, and quality standards.
Accurately document job details using software (e.g., ServiceTitan).
Mentor apprentices or laborers when assigned.
Attend ongoing training to stay up to date on tools, techniques, and code changes.
