Requirements
- 3 years of plumbing experience in a residential and maintenance operation
- Knowledge of plumbing code
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work extended hours, nights, or weekends and on-call
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50-75 pounds. Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- In-home sales experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential homes, including pipes, drains, water heaters, and fixtures
- Install new plumbing systems, fixtures, water heaters, garbage disposals, faucets, and other plumbing appliances as needed
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner and communicate effectively with clients about plumbing issues and repair options
- Perform routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to identify and fix minor issues before they become major problems
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Accurately document all work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining plumbing issues and offering repair solutions that meet the customer's needs
- Operate plumbing tools and equipment safely and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform emergency plumbing services, including after-hours calls when required
- Keep up-to-date with the latest plumbing technology and techniques through continued education
- Manage and measure the work of an apprentice on the job. Assist with additional training as necessary
- Maintain an organized truck, adequate truck stock, and tools
